Many issues were discussed and changes made at the board meeting. These changes will be discussed at the club meeting. This will be your chance to voice your opinion. The O.R.C.C.C. has purchased a new Char-broil 3000 Stainless steel grill. No more lean mean grilling machine (thank god). Try out a burger on the new grill and thank the ladies in concessions for all their hard work week in and week out.

NOTES FROM THE BOARD

A word from our treasurer. The club has had a great year financially. We are still working hard to generate revenues as we are unsure of our property situation with our landlord being ill. Once we know for sure about the property we will be able to move forward and make some great purchases for the club. We have approved the purchase of a welder so the roof can be put on the drivers stand along with repairs to the drivers stand stairs and to the drag for the track. As you will notice with a new grill, the trees being trimmed, and the future plans we have we are always working hard to improve our club's facilities and that we are a non profit club.

FINAL THOUGHTS

My father Bret and I started in R/C back in 1984. There was a guy we meet back then and have always raced with and have remained very good friends with. He has moved to the area and will be racing with the club. All of us as club members need to welcome and help out new racers as you never know who you will meet. Don Chenoweth is a friend of almost 20 years because we helped each other out. Please welcome him and all new racers.
