Here’s the latest news and information at the most wicked racetrack in central Florida.

Our latest meeting was held on May 13, 1998 at the McPherson governmental complex. All interested parties are invited to attend. Those in attendance were Carl Ross, Ken Mattes, Trever Iverson, Angel & Rick Eggers, Jim Pfeiffer, Scott & Bonita Lair, Bill Lair, Danny Mayer, Matt Mosieur, Travis & Dave Scrambling. Many ideas were discussed and we welcome others to join us at our next meeting…………THURSDAY JUNE 18TH AT 7:00 P.M.

MONTHS ....EXCLUDING....JULY 4TH.

One of the items discussed was changing the day the meetings are held. For the next 3 months, the meetings will be held on THURSDAYS. We will discuss whether to change or keep this routine at the end of this three-month period.

The hot topic of this meeting was the then upcoming state series race. We all agreed on many items and brought it all together for a fabulous race weekend. Many thanks need to go out to Travis and Dave Scrambling for the paint job and construction work; Angel and her friend Kathy kept the drinks and food flowing; Carl and his fantastic watering crew kept the track just right; Jack kept the races going to make sure we kept on schedule and Bill Hamilton, a/k/a Computer Dude, kept the computer computing and the races smooth. The club and racers can’t thank these folks enough!!

Speaking of help……….CURRENTLY, THE TRACK DOES NOT PAY ANY OF THESE PEOPLE FOR THEIR SERVICES!! I just wanted to clarify that for anyone that was confused. These folks are asking for a slight form of payment in the future……….RESPECT. Please remember to be courteous and nice to these folks who are busting their particulars so that you racers can have fun!! Be nice ‘til it hurts!

Hey another tidbit you might be interested in as you know, we are constantly buying stuff for the track’s maintenance. To this end, we are collecting donations of SCOTTY’S money. That’s Scotty’s money, not Scott’s money. I’ve got first dibs on Scott’s money!! So far, we have collected almost $10!!! Please keep us in mind and drop off you coupons any race day! Thanks for your support.
