JUNE 24, 1998 Here’s the latest splash on the Ocala racetrack! Actually, that is wishful thinking! Oh, how we were annoyed at the rains this past winter.......Oh, to have a little of that today! I’m hoping my latest picture and border will induce the clouds to RAIN!!!!! The latest club meeting was held Thursday June 18th. The location of the meetings has changed as the governmental complex no longer "lends" the facility we have used the last 3 months. Carl Ross, the VP, graciously allowed the use of his office at A to Z Pest Control. The club would like to thank management for their generosity if they know of this kind act and to say "mums the word" if they don’t know! Join us July 16th for a meeting.

There will be NO races June 27th, July 4th or July 18th. There are races ON July 11th and July 25th. Point series results: Mod Truck: 1st-David Carmen; 2nd-Scott Lair; 3rd-Matt Mosieur; 4th-TIE- Shawn 0’Hara and Pat Sanzone. 2wd Stock: 1st-David Carmen; 2nd-Matt Mosieur; 3rd-Rick Eggers. Stock Truck: 1st-Max Sternemann; 2nd-Carl Ross; 3rd-Ken Mattes. Novice: 1st-Caleb 0’Hara & 2nd-Dylan 0’Hara. Membership renewals are due July 1998. Annual membership is $24 per year. This saves you money every time you race as the racing fees are reduced for members. You are also eligible to hold a position in the club and really make a difference in THE RACES AND EVENTS. Join now and receive a really cool membership card created by "Bill the computer dude".
