O.R.C.C.C NEWS LETTER

February 2004

Great News!! The ORCCC will be moving its operation to a bigger, better RC facility.  The new facility will have an on road and oval track.  The new track size will be 100 x 150; we’re off to a good start.  The clay has already been donated for the new facility and we have contacted other companies for donations for the new facility.  The new site is already established. Seems like things are coming together for the ORCCC.  This should bring in a lot of new members as well as new sponsors and more competitive racing.  The new track size should bring in more 1/8 scale and nitro racers.

In other news: remember that workday is this Saturday (2/28/04).  For all members who keep contacting us about the next meeting, show up for workday Saturday and we will discuss the next meeting.  Remember when you signed up to be a member it said you would help on workday so please try to show up for workday.  We do appreciate all the work from the members and for them coming out for practice and for racing.  We would also like to thank James Raney for fixing the window at A2Z Pest Control.  Also, the points race is off to a terrific start, but you need to keep in mind that it was extended one week due to rain out.
